I've been forced into Windows 10 (which I hate).
Coping with emails and this site. C. 20 mins. ago everything shimmered and now the font is so tiny that I can scarcely read it. I've logged off and then on again, but it is still the same. Help, please. :)

In any of the main browsers, pressing Ctrl and 0 together returns text to the default display size. (Ctrl and + make it larger. Ctrl and - make it smaller).

Don't know what browser you're using, but if it's Chrome try looking at the three bars on the far right of the address bar. Click on that and you will see an option to zoom in.

Not using chrome. If I click on the icon I get 'edge' (whatever that is).
Going to try the instructions on that site tonyav.

Who/what "forced" you into Windows 10?
Note: If everything is smaller (including, for example, the icons on your desktop) it suggests that your screen resolution has changed for some reason. (Right-click on your desktop to look for an option to change it)
Do you have three bars (commonly called a hamburger) at the far top right? If so, click on it. Choose zoom and click + till you get to 125%. This is not exclusive to Chrome, I think it works for Firefox as well.

gingejbee - my trusty old laptop died spectacularly and all new ones seem to have w10 installed. I can't use it as I did W7, hate it, in fact, but do not have enough knowhow or confidence to change - it was so awful being in the interim.
Just been on tonyav's site, but can't find the starter thing it says I should click.
Now going to try Buenchico's advice.

Buenchico- I think I love you! OK, I'll calm down now. I did the Control 0 you suggested and all is now back to normal. Thank you all so much for your concern and aid. Love J :) x
I had this problem when changing to w10. Occasionally it occurs if you miskey. For example, if you inadvertently press Ctrl + ) instead of Shift + ) it will change to default.

Thanks, jackdaw - I know we're not on our own with coping with w10 :)
