Last night after a very long day I decided to treat myself to a cheeky vodka and orange. Had a couple of sips and decided I was too tired and left it on coffee table. I get up this morning 6am as usual, make sons packed lunch and pour him a glass of orange juice and slice of toast. Put it in lounge and take last nights drink into kitchen. Son comes down and I hear this strangled noise ....,he'd gulped down a huge glug of juice - except that I'd taken the wrong one and he'd just necked half a glass of vodka and orange just before his Maths GCSE!! I was NOT popular.......

You know what home measures are like...... I felt terrible !
Good job not a younger child! Could have been so different!

I have seen what careless drinking can do to someone!

I wouldn't have left it on the table if I had little ones.
Just put it down to a funny family story, it won't happen again. I did exactly the same when my daughter was 12. First night on hol in Spain I put my 'huge gin and tonic put in a water bottle to get me through the flight' leftovers in the apartment fridge. Daughter got up in the night and went for a drink from that bottle - she still goes on about it now and she's a grown-up.
Look on the bright side. if he does do well at least he won't care.

Anyway, one drink may relax him and result in a better score.
I have no idea what the tech did with the "n't" I typed.
Why do we still not have an edit facility ?
Because, OG, you could call someone a bad name, then edit it.
And the problem with that is ?
Other sites don't find it an issue.
Just put it down to experience, most of us have made mistakes.

I do feel bad but he's a 16 6ft3 lad. It's more the shock for him- you know if someone says close your eyes and you're expecting to be fed chocolate and its beef. You weren't expecting it. He was expecting OJ .
I doubt one gollop is going to do home or his results any harm.

A friend of mine took a beaker of whisky and orange to school and passed it around the playground ending up with the playground supervisor!!!
