I Have Completely Lost Contact With My Laptop

was OK yesterday.today when it try to log on I get a message do you wish to logon
using startup repair. (always happens when the cable falls out but is not normally a prob). After pressing YES I then get a message windows cannot repair this computer automatically. I then get a window requesting administrator user name and password.

BTW, i did get an update to Epsom software yesterday which i loaded. looked kosher to me.

I do not have administrator sign on details nor a windows start up disc.

Is this a job for my local teccie
