for the last 2 days my gmail is all in german just to say i voted to stay in europe so its nothing to do with that, anyone got a sensible answer to this

PS: It might be worth checking whether there's something on your computer which is routing your internet traffic via a proxy server in Germany (which might explain why Google's servers think that you're there!).

chico i have checked and it says i am in scotland,cant follow advice on first as i dont speak german

Click on the gear wheel. (Top right)

Click 'Einstellungen'.

At the top of the page, select 'Englisch' from the 'Gmail-Anzeigesprache' drop-down menu in the "Sprache" section.

Click 'Änderungen speichern' at the bottom of the page.
