Can't Get Rid Of Ie 11
8 Answers
I have recently installed Mozila Firefox. I previously used IE 11 with Windows operating 8.1. Everything is working much faster (it seems) but the favourites tab isn't anywhere to be seen & I have a lot of saved sites. Can I somehow import it from IE 11 or is it hiding somewhere which I have not discovered yet? I would also like to uninstall IE 11 from my system & done a search which told me to go into Programs & Features, select View Installed updates, scroll down to Microsoft Windows section & select Windows IE 11 then click uninstall but this doesn't appear on the list in Installed updates. Where am I going wrong? Help would be appreciated. Thank you!

They are called bookmarks on Firefox - normally during the installation process Firefox will ask if you want to transfer your favourites in. https:// support. mozilla. org/ en- US/ kb/ import- bookmarks- internet- explorer

Just an additional thought:
As has been mentioned already, Firefox (and every browser in the world except Internet Explorer and Edge) uses the term 'Bookmarks' rather than 'Favorites' (with that horrid US spelling!). If you don't see 'Bookmarks' at the top of your page, along with 'File', 'Edit', 'View, etc, it means that you've not got the Menu Bar enabled. To turn it on simply right-click at the top of the page and put a tick in the relevant box.
