Presidential Candidate Mimics A Sex Act

I recently changed from the BT Voyager 100 to the Voyager 205 so to connect another computer, however, when I installed the router it only works some of the time, disconnecting then reconnecting. Is it due to improper installation, since I had to install the driver directly and some components may not be installed such as the ethernet component. Is there anything I can do, or somewhere I can get the proper installation file(s). Thank you in advance.

The ehternet connected computer just uses the router/modem as if it were accessing a local area network so shouldn't have any unknown devices in the Device Manager related to the modem. If you go to one of the unknown devices in the Device Manager and in its Properties, try to update the driver, letting it look on the Web (if you're on XP).
According to this page, it is a good idea to go to device manager and on the Power Management tab of each of your USB Root Hubs listed, uncheck the "Allow the computer to turn this device off to save power" box. This might solve your problem.
Failing everything, try to uninstall all the 205 software and reinstall from scratch. It might be worth deleting any folder related to this install from your Program Files folder just in case there's any Voyager 100 software still floating around.
Also, update your modems firmware to v1.8 from this page. Let us know what happens.
