I keep getting a box up on my laptop asking me if I should allow syncronoss software to make changes to my computer , What is it and should I allow it Advice gratefully accepted

Have you got any form of 'cloud' software on your computer (e.g. for backing up your files to the cloud), even if you're not actively using it (e.g. if you bought the computer with an offer of free cloud support)?
I ask because that's probably what's making the request to activate itself. So, if you need your cloud back-up service to work, you should grant permission for it to do so. Otherwise refuse it and look in your list of installed programs to see if there's an obvious way to get rid of it.
