Either your hompage has changed and/or you've got a nasty.

Download the free version of Malwarebytes.

Let it clean anything it finds. I recommend turning off system restore before you restart.

After the restar scan again. Only when clean turn back on system restore
I agree that you should do a scan with the free edition of Malwarebytes. However, before doing so, I would check to see if there is any unwanted program in your PC/Laptop which needs to be removed, as follows:-

1. Click Start > Control Panel > Uninstall a Program.
2. When in the Add/Remove Programs/Uninstall a Program, look for PCKeeper.
3. Click 'Uninstall' and then OK.
Incidentally, are you using as your Browser Internet Explorer. If so, that could account for the long time to log into Answerbank.

No i use google chrome
Let us know how you get on with Malwarebytes. If then you have failed to remove the offending material, it will be a matter of seeking to find if anything suspicious has been hidden away in a recently downloaded programme. Some sites are notorious for hiding things.

yansee...In the light of your last posting I would say stay away from adwcleaner as recommended by fender62. You could end up by messing-up the registry of your Computer. See what your mate advises and let us know how things go.

@fender62....All such cleaners work if in safe hands. However, they can seriously interfere with the OS Registry if used by a 'novice'.
