I've just had to update my phone and since then, if I pause for a moment, while writing a txt for example, it turns itself off and I have to go through all the hassle of turning it on again. Someone said lengthening the time it stays on should be in settings, but I can't find anything as I don't really know what I'm looking for. Please can anyone help? Thank you.

Settings, general, display and brightness, auto-lock. 30 seconds is the minimum so not sure 'pause for a moment' would cause it to lock (I assume you mean lock rather than turn off)

Yes I do and thank you very much! That's great! It's been so annoying and I'm very grateful, thanks again, Sue
No problem, the update seemed to reset some odd settings, someone else on here suddenly found their emails grouping messages together by thread when they hadn't before, all very strange
I and a lot of others have found now we cannot take photos directly on whatsapp. Hopefully they will fix it soon.

Oh good, I thought it was me and the other little nightly things that are happening can be ignored so I didn't mention them.
