Right-click on your desktop and select 'properties'.
Select the 'settings' tab, and then click 'advanced'.
Now click on the 'general' tab and should be able to see a DPI setting - increasing this value will make all text in windows larger.
Er, what? Is somebody trying to wind you up or something? None of that makes any sense to me!
You don't say whether you're trying to change the text size in just one program (e.g. Internet Explorer) or for everything. Since you mention Internet Explorer, I'll first tell you how to view a bigger text size when you view web pages:
Simply click on 'View', then move your mouse cursor to 'Text Size', then click on 'Larger' or 'Largest'.
If, however, you're trying to achieve a larger text size more generally, try this: Click 'Start'. Move the cursor to 'Settings' then click on 'Control Panel'. Double-click 'Display'. Click 'Settings'. Click 'Advanced'. Check the entry for 'Font Size'. If this shows 'small fonts', click the little button to the right and change it to 'large fonts'. (If you've already got 'large fonts' and you still want something bigger, select 'Other' then select either 150% or 200%). Click 'Apply'. Click 'OK'. Click 'OK' again.
This should achieve the results you want but, if not, you can always get bigger text by reducing the screen resolution. (Follow the instructions above but after clicking 'Settings', move the Screen Area slider one stop to the left. Click 'Apply'. Click 'OK'. You may need to restart your computer).
Hoping this helps,
Chris
