I am looking at getting broadband installed, I currently have no internet access at all.   I have been having a look round at different deals and am totally confused.  I will probably be downloading things now and again, but not very much - but I expect to use it for approx 3/4 hours a night and more on a weekend.   Can anybody recommend a provider.  Also, is there anything I need to look out for - I would like unlimited access but am confused by the 1mb per day usage? is this the same thing.....Thanks...

Have a look at:-

or look up Demon Internet

I currently use Pipex. Not the cheapest but service is good.  Look here  for more info on other providers.

I have had Wanadoo/Freeserve for several years and has never failed me, reasonable price too and up to 2mb speed now. And their call centre is actually in this country! Whatever you do don't go with Tiscali!

AOL have just launched today 17.99 for first two months plus free modem and connection. I have had no problems with them despite all the bad rumours i had heard.
All depending on the part of the country your in, I use Telewest Broadband, and am very satisfied.
