My husband's Iphone 6 has stopped working, it refused to power up even though it had a charge left on it. if have contacted Apple who have taken me through some steps to restart it none of which have worked, holding the on and home key together and trying to rebuild it thorugh itunes - none of which have worked.

Apple have now quoted £235 to possibly repair it - does anyone have any other ideas or tips that may start it?

No...but I've never heard 'banjaxed' outside of Ireland. You could have threw in a few 'fecks'
