Kindle Fire...

Can anyone tell me how to log out of facebook messenger on the Kindle? My OH mainly uses it and every time I get a message it pops up on the kindle...

I hate using it and only use it if I have to. If in doubt hit the Home button.

My fingers shake too much for a tablet - but I only use it in bed, usually for games.

That doesn't work. I signed out of facebook okay...it's just that new messenger.

Go to settings- notifications and quiet time- messenger and switch banners to off.

I can't see where 'quiet time' and 'switch banners' are?

No..but I managed to do it using this. I uninstalled it.

What you could do to logout of facebook messenger is to clear the messenger app data by going into settings, apps and then settings of meesenger app, if this seems to be difficult then refer to other methods from https://wildtricks.com/facebook/logout-facebook-messenger/
