Gifts in jars

Hi not sure where to put this, so I thought here as mum's often do lots of crafts:
I am busy making christmas presents for people, and for the people I know well things are fine. However, anyone have any good ideas/links to websites for stuff to make people like parents, grand parents, cousins, etc etc more distant people?

The more frugal, the better, and free is better still.
