Try another browser first. Anything is better than Internet Explorer. (Chrome, Firefox, Vivaldi, Avant, etc etc. You name it and it's sure to be better than ruddy Internet Explorer). If the problems disappear you'll know that it was a fault with Internet Explorer. (You could then seek advice here on fixing Internet Explorer or, better still, abandon it altogether).

If the problem persists let us know and we'll examine the next stage for you. (It would then help us to know whether your computer is connected to your router via an Ethernet cable or wirelessly. It would also help to know which version of Windows you're using).
It might also help if you were to tell us who is your Internet Service Provider and what is the make and model of your Router.

Hans.
I am on Outlook, Windows 7 and Google Chrome and it happens to me several times a day, just on AB and no other sites.
Annoying, but no big deal as it only lasts a few minutes.

Thank you for your replies. ISP is EE, router is bright box 1, wireless. Hope this helps.
If you're connecting wirelessly to your router, I suspect that you need to reset your computer's TCP/IP stack. (Don't worry; it's far easier than it sounds!).

Which version of Windows are you using? (XP? Vista? 7? 8? 8.1? 10?)

I'm trying to get firefox installed at the moment, taking a-g-e-s (wired now). Windows 7. TCP stack?? I've some surgical spirit left over will that do?(By 'eck, you can tell there's nowt much on the telly can't you?!)
Here's how to reset the TCP/IP stack:

Click Start

Type 'cmd' (without the quote marks) in the box

'cmd' will appear above it (under 'Programs'). Right-click on it and select 'Run as Administrator'

When a new box opens, type the following:
netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt

Press Enter

You'll see a message telling you that you need to restart your computer to complete the action. Do so.
