Where can I get service manuals

Sorry this isn't very rock'n'roll - but I'm sure I could save a load of money servicing my [Honda] lawnmower and/or car if I had the official service manuals. Presumably the companies don't let just anyone get hold of them - Does anyone know where I can get hold of official service manuals without being a service centre ?

I don't know about lawnmowers, but the range of Haynes manuals for cars is excellent. They are available from car spares shops and I find them very useful. Who knows, they may even do one for lawnmowers.

Honda are happy to sell real service manuals and photocopies for their motorcycles, so I'm sure they would for their cars and lawnmowers as well. Pop along to any Honda dealer and ask - or get the number for their plant in Swindon - they would probably be able to point you in the right direction.
