Which Sports Watch?
Hi!
I would like to buy a Sports Watch for my daughter for her birthday. She is a keen runner who has twice completed the Brighton Marathon, and now, after giving birth in November, is getting back into practice.
I know nothing about running but I am a keen GPS user, so I can sort of guess what they do.
- Keep a record of courses run, speeds attained, with split speeds (spoken?)
- Are able to upload courses run (preferably with Bluetooth)
- Download courses to retrace
- Offer coaching, preferably verbal, such as "You are on course for a personal best"
- Heartrate monitor, preferably on-wrist sensor rather than additional sensor
Anything I've forgotten would be a bonus!
Price not a problem, but needs to be sturdy, waterproof, long battery life.
All help gratefully received!
Thanks in advance,
Richard

If you buy her the "wrong" one she's stuck with it; she can't swap it as it's a present and buying herself the "right" one just wastes your present. Why not ask her which one she would like and then buy a small surprise present as well to give her on the day.
