Briefly it concerns an old man living in a Care Home on the understanding that he could keep his dog with him for life. Now the company appears to have changed its policy, and have told him his dog has to go. Bob won't agree to that IMO if the company is changing its policy it shouldn't be retrospective, you have to let current residents keep their dogs until one or the other dies. There's a lot more to it than that but them's the basics. Anyway, up to you whether you would like to sign or not. Thank you if you do.

Thank you choux and vulcan.
Bednobs, I read in a link the money is to ensure their ongoing care if they have to move but Bob doesn't want to move! I'm not contributing,I don't think he needs it at moment anyway.
Darkie seems to be well looked after, "All arrangements for catering for Darkie, ensuring he is walked and cared for have been in place for some time. Volunteers cover on the 3 days that Bob attends hospital for dialysis and the Cinnamon trust are on-hand to cover other periods.
The trouble all started when a new director took over the company if I remember correctly.

Thank you Mamy and Chris.
Signed......how can folk do this.......there was an agreement when he entered the home.....that agreement should stand.

If the new management wants to introduce a no pet policy they do it from now for new residents.

This gentleman, on three days a week of dialysis, can't have many more years......we should be making those years the best they can be for him.....this is so cruel....

Thanks, LB....x
That can't be right. I'll sign.

Thanks 237for the link, interesting. I see the concerns the company say they had about Darkie have all been taken care of and the comments underneath point out that the dog has only become a trip hazard since the new management decided to ban dogs, not for the four years previous to that. And all the residents love him but their views have not been taken into account. I'm happy I signed.
And thank you marvel, Prudie and jordan. This should help them towards their 300,000 target.
Signed.
