Recently when viewing the Daily Mail web page I notice that not only the first large headline photograph is blank.

Then scrolling the page I notice that all the larger photos disappear as soon after appearing at the bottom of the screen.

All other smaller photos show normally.

Anyone any idea why this is please?

these actually appear to be videos rather than photos. Perhaps you haven't got a suitable player installed?

Thanks for your answers, regarding the video reason jno, although today's headline photo appears for a fraction of a second and then disappears, on the original web page, when I click on the story all the videos and photos are displayed normally.

Web page address:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/index.html

Story address:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4411870/New-Pentagon-video-shows-massive-force-MOAB.html

that's odd, then - that's the same video as is on the home page. Perhaps there's just one element on the home page, maybe another video, that's causing your computer problems.

Ah, looking at it again, they've republished the page with a new lead story. It may be that you were trying to click on it just as they were altering it.
