Bluetooth on Motorola V3

Please can someone tell me how to send files from one bluetooth device to my V3. I can detect the V3 and pair with it but can't send files from anyother phone or laptop without it failing on connection. When I power on Bluetooth nothing happens until i click find me, then the bluetooth icon flashes for a while and that is it.

If you are trying to send a file from the V3 i.e. a picture goto the picture in multimedia, press menu > copy. It will ask if you want to power on bluetooth>press yes>Already paired devices will show or click on "look for devices" it will then pair once it has found another device. The receiving person will then receive a message asking whether to accept the incoming transfer>press yes>copy starts.
If you are receiving on a V3 Goto - Bloutooth>setup>Find me. while discoverable the other person should follow more or less the same steps. One you have paired with that phone you will not have to do it again. Hope that helps

Thanks for this answer but I have tried this. I can pair with a device but when I try and send it says connecting and just sits there for 5 mins before saying the connection time has expired.

Sorry another developement, I have found that I can send photos from my v3 via bluetooth but still can't receive. Once again I can do the initial pairing and can discover it from another phone but it fails when sending a picture almost like the bluetooth signal on my v3 terminates after a few seconds.

Have you tried connecting to another phone? I have had the same problem trying to connect to my friends Samsung phone. They would pair but thats all they did. I must admit though it is only her Samsung phone I had problems with, any other. Sorry not much help.
