On my ipad I consistently struggle to use certain websites. Facebook and linkedin are the two that come to mind where the site opens and after a few seconds, it reloads with the following message. A problem has occured with this website and it will reload. It does so but does it again after a few clicks and scrolls. Is it to do with the size of the images? Can I avoid it?

I found my Facebook app was taking up too much memory on my iPad. I found a tip on YouTube that advised deleting FB and reloading it from Safari. My memory usage dropped hugely and yet everything I wanted was still in place. Might be worth a try.

I'll try to find the link for you. It can't do any harm.

Thanks Chrissa, but I only access FB via safari and not very often either. I'm not a huge user, just occaionally when I do look at pages they seem to overload. Especially if they have images in them.
I think that if you delete it and reinstall it, it gets rid of all the miscellaneous things that you pick up when clicking on various links.

As long as you know your passwords for both the sites you mentioned, it can't do any harm.
