Kodi Repository Connection Problem Fire Tv

Hi, I have Kodi sideloaded onto my Amazon fire tv, but have recently been getting 'urgent update required' messages on start up. I tried, using the web address suggested, to update it and have somehow lost Exodus. On trying to reinstall it, I keep getting the message 'could not connect to repository'. Can anyone help?

I'm totally out of my depth here (and thus solely reliant on Google) but this appears to suggest that it maybe a problem 'at the other end' and there's nothing you yourself can do about it. (i.e. you'll just have to wait until the server comes back online):

Most kodi addons this week have closed down due to a Texas court slapping an order of one of them ..75% of repositorys are shut down ..some only a few are still working

Yes it's working Chris but via another repository. .others may be back in a few days

Which version of KODI are you using? Have you updated to the latest version?
