I've had an email from Yahoo saying they received a request to delete my Yahoo account and it will be actioned in 3 days if I don't click on a link. Is this a scam or phishing email?
Thanks

Difficult say. Try looking at this initially:-

Don't click! You should never click on this sort of link - why would Yahoo have received any such request?
I agree - don't click on the link but if it is genuine . . . this might be the next thing to do:-

I am not sure but I think the problem with Yahoo Mail is that there might not be a contact number you can call? So it looks like you may have to do it all on line via the help facility:-

Yahoo say that their emails have a Y logo, but this has a large M for Mail.
I'm sure you knew the answer before posting. Unexpected e-mail trying to panic receiver into clicking on an untrustworthy link.

I think it's a Scam if you are still able to use your e/mail account.

Check the sender’s email address without opening the email by mousing over the sender’s name in your Inbox.

If your account is deactivated in 3days, you should be able to
re-establish it by just 'signing-in'.
