Recent Android Upgrade

Around a month ago my Galaxy S6 upgraded to android version 7, since then my battery drains at an alarming rate, approx. twice the speed of before, is it possible to undo this upgrade and revert to the previous version?

I'll look at that because my phone has started draining very quickly recently, I'm not aware of an upgrade but I'll check it when I fathom how to.
