Sony Dongle Smart Tv - How Do I Use A Usb To Show My Photos - Help!
5 Answers
Do not know if I am in correct category - but here goes!
Have just got a new Sony Bravia TV which amongst other connections on the back has two USB ports.
On my old Humax (non smart ) TV when I put a USB into a port it automatically came up with a message 'USB available' and I clicked on it and I could view the content.
I have read the manual on my new Sony and tried everything but there is no way I can view the USB content! If I press the small green button at top left of my handset it offers me various options like hmd1 which I use, hmd2 for my connected dvd player, digital, analogu and AV but nothing showing the USB I have put into the port.
I am completely confused - what am I doing wrong in simple terms please as am elderly!
Thank you

Thanks so much for that Buenchico!
Never thought to go into 'home' on the remote. I did read the manual that came with the TV but completely misread this page 16 as I was expecting it to work automatically like my old Humax!
Have just put in my memoerystick with my hols photos and it worked!
Thanks again

Can I ask one more question please as you helped me with my last problem?
As this is my first smart tv I find it annoying that every time I press the remote to mute it, change programme or take any action at all I get script appearing on the top of the screen showing things like time, what digital prog I am into and stereo etc. This happens for about 5 to 10 seconds every time!
Because it is a smart tv must this always happen or is there any way to reduce the time it shows or better still stop it appearing altogether?
Thanks again
