HELP!!! How can I remove ad-blocker from my Vista computer, I have Firefox browser but I don't know if that's enough information needed to sort it out. Any help would be appreciated. Kitty

If the adblocker is part of firefox go to the menu (3 horizontal bars on the top left)
Select addons
Disable the adblocker add on

Kitty, first question is "Why do you want to disable it"?. If the answer is that the blocker is not letting you open a site or service, you can set the blocker to allow that site through.

I want to watch commercial tv online but because of the ad-block it wont allow the programmes to be seen because it wont show the adverts

just turn adblocker off for the site you want to watch

There should be a 'don/t run on this page' on the ad blocker.Just click on this.

Click on the Adblock icon which will bring down a menu.

If you are using the one with a little red icon(ABP). Click on it,click on options, Whitelisted domains, and add the url for the site you wish to allow through.

Me too - maybe new ed has a better grip on the real world.

I have mentioned in a previous posting that it is possible for a site reliant upon revenue from adverts to identify if an adblocker is being used.

However, if all ABers were prevented from using Adblockers, membership would rapidly decline. Perhaps from a Commercial point of view it is better for the Ed to ignore matters and keep up membership numbers.
