I have an (old) Sony Bravia KDL-32V2500. In the top left corner of the screen there is a display indicator which tells you which AV channel you are connected to. I want to be able to get rid of the display temporarily because, when watching F1 and (currently) the Open Golf, the display blots out vital information. All help appreciated.

Found this on a forum: Have you tried pressing the i+ button on the TV's remote control (top left-hand side)? You might have to press it a couple of times, to cycle through other display information

ZM, thanks. Yes I have tried that, but all it does is show all the AV channels in order, so AV5, AV6, PC, etc.

ZM - sorry, I thought you meant a different button. I just tried your suggestion and it works!!! Thank you very very much. (Memo to self - if all else fails, actually read what you're told to do!)

Actually, in my own defence, on my remote the i+ button is middle right not top left!!! But a great result. Thanks again!
