Fuji Xq2 Blue Filter Help Required
3 Answers
When my friend's camera packed up on holiday in Iceland I lent him my spare compact camera a Fujifilm XQ2 after a while he managed to switch on the Blue Filter without realising . Hence a lot of his photos are in B&W with Blue skies and Blue lakes Does anyone know how to retrieve the pictures without the Blue filter effect

The Fujifilm XQ2 is a digital camera - there is no film to manipulate. If the photos have been stored solely as JPGs I suspect there is no simple way to reintroduce the colour to the B+W areas other than by some form of colourisatio n software. If the photos are in RAW format (Fuji RAF format) the colour information should still exist and be retrievable.

I guess there are two options;
Send the film to a specialist photographic printers who will correct the filtering by using the negative of the camera filtering.
The cheaper option is to have the film scanned to an electronic format, then play with any number of photographic software packages available, that allow the manipulation of the colour.
