Virgin Media Router

Got a green flashing light on my Virgin Media router, don't know what it is. Internet connection all ok (connected and secured), no problems before.
A bit thick with techno, anyone tell me what it is?

Had a quick look on virgin forums but others with the same problem are saying that their internet is down as well when green light is flashing, mine isn't.

Cant find anything on there hc, its my wifi light that is continually flashing.

maybe it's doing some up-dating?

Have you re-booted it to see if that would stop the flashing?

Its never done it before Alba, bit afraid to reboot in case I don't get it back on again. As I said internet working fine.

Know what you mean about rebooting nailit.
Last time I rebooted ours, took about 2hrs before it settled down.

Agree with aog, give them a phone.

You are password protected with your wi-fi? (silly question)

If its not broke I'm not going try to fix it, would just like to know why its flashing the green wifi light.

Nailit, if it is the one with three lights then only the centre one needs to be constant, the other two flashing is normal.

never done it before Danny, The bottom white light has always been constant. It was like this, this morning. Just came home and the green wifi light is now flashing.

My understanding is that, when the WiFi light on Virgin Router is Flashing, the Router is trying to find an appliance to connect with. Alternatively there is a fault with Virgin's service to your Router.

Might be worthwhile giving Virgin a bell.
