Friday. Yesterday was warm and sunny. Today is looking the same. A clear sky is promising.
The quiz night at the hospice was a great success. My friends couldn't make as himself had to work late on an emergency call out. So I was teamed up with a group of three ladies, who were delightful,we had a lot of fun. We came third! A most enjoyable evening and over £800 was raised for the hospice.
I got home just after 10. Tiggy was waiting for his supper and gave me 'The What time do you call this pal? Look' So I fed him and sat out with a glass of wine while he ate. When he'd finished he said thank you in his own unique style. He head butted my foot! He's a grand wee lad! :o}
What to do today. Good question. I'm out to lunch, but other than that and the usual running around. Nowt. Wonderful!
Have a happy day everyone.

That is unfortunate TWR. The best laid plans of mice and men are oft to go awry. Sometimes in spectacular fashion!
On one trip to Ireland, we'd pre-booked all the B&B's we we needed,
(We always spent a couple of days in Dublin, then toured a different part of the country and always ended in Waterford, where I come from.) A B&B we'd booking in Galway denied we'd booked, despite us having the proof, so we had to find somewhere else. We were very lucky at the first place we tried, the landlady had just an hour before had a cancellation. She said she knew of the B&B we'd booked and told us we were lucky as they were being investigated by the authorities because of other complaints.
