I have 2 laptops, and I use one more than the other and end up carrying it round the house with me etc

Is there a way i can have one upstairs and one downstairs, but link them so I can access whatever i was doing on one, on the other one?

Is there some software i need to use?

thanks
(both are windows 10, firefox - a pavillion 15 and an asus x550

Woofgang's link shows you how to actually take control of another computer (i.e. run the software which is on it) from another one. If you only want Computer A to be able to access the files and documents which are on Computer B (and vice versa) then setting up a Homegroup network would be simpler:

I've used TeamViewer before now.
I have four computers in my house all connected by a network.

I can see all the files on the other computers, open files on another computer on MY computer and so on.

I DONT use Homegroup or TeamViewer.

I just make each PC able to "see" the other one on the network.

However there is some setting up to do but it is not difficult.

To keep it simple maybe use Homegroup.
