Hi, the problem is like this, worked in the Excel spreadsheet before closing saved, turned off the computer. Resuming work in the program it turned out that was gone, all the formulas again, before exiting the program kept((( prompt please, whether probably to recover the data?

Hi , you can try to restore using a backup copy of the product itself , you can also write a letter to the developers with error code, or try using the xlsx file repair software, to find this free program here : https://www.xlsxrepairtoolbox.com/

I'd not be hopeful. You could try searching your drives for part of the file name, or get it to search in files for something you know should be in there.

There are decent recovery programmes about, if you are desperate. Trouble is recovered files with data, a single corruption can mess up the whole file, even if found. If you do use a recovery programme remember to install it on a different drive so that you don't overwrite anything.

I don't suppose your settings as for making a regular background save ? If it is that might limit the amount of lost work.

Do you mean that you shut down the computer properly, or just pulled the plug? I'm assuming the former, but I've known users to flip the power switch on the wall!
