Tv Fuse Keep Blowing

Tv model Samsung LE40B550A5W.

Tv went Pop. Discovered blown ceramic fuse on power board. Replaced fuse turned on tv and fuse blown again. Any ideas before I condemn tv ?

May be worth checking the tv plug. The fuse in that should blow first anyway. Failing that the tv on off switch is the first suspect then the power supply circuit in the tv. Not a DIY job I'm afraid.

Although the model is now discontinued, it has quite a good spec and might be worth trying to fix.

From your description, it is almost certainly a power board fault.

At £39.99 including p&p you might effect a fix with this, which would certainly be cheaper than a repair shop.
