Emil Problem On Iphone
2 Answers
My OH has switched from a Blackberry to an iPhone. He can receive email but cannot send or reply. It comes up with an error message. 'A copy has been placed in your Outbox. The recipient [...] was rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying.'
I've googled and found a help page, done all the suggestions including deleting the account and putting it in again. I've also set up his account on my own iPhone and it works fine on that.
Any other suggestions please?

I've also googled and (based upon my knowledge of email systems, which I know a few things about, rather than of iPhones, which are a total mystery to me), this looks to be the most likely solution: Go into setting> mail> your account> Outgoing mail Server SMTP>Primary Server then turn Server ON and fill in both User Name + Password under Outgoing Mail Server
