I've got my Facebook set so that only "Friends" can see my posts, so how come that people who aren't my "Friends" have "liked" things I've posted on my own wall/timeline?

If you have tagged anyone in any of your posts....their friends will be able to comment....

I know nothing about Facebook but this suggests that you need to go to 'How Tags Work' in 'Privacy Settings':
