How Do I Contact Orange?

I have a very simple, Samsung, mobile phone (it makes and receives calls). I'm going to Thailand next month and want to know if it will work there or what I have to do to make it of any use.
The Orange website is defunct and transfers you to EE. I've been 'chatting' to one of their helpers - but he can't help because it's an Orange account. He gave me an 0800number and a mobile number to try. I've rung the 0800 number, but it doesn't recognise my phone number when I punch it in and the mobile number doesn't even ring.
Any ideas? Thanks if you can help with this.

I'm not sure why you are wanting to contact Orange- do you have a monthly contract with them? If so you should have an account and a number to ring

Hi F-f!
My original contract was with Orange. Then I moved to pay as you go with them. This still all works fine, I top-up money at a cash dispenser by pressing Orange, even though EE now comes up on the phone. That's why I can't understand why they can't access my account.

I'll give that a go, webbo. Thanks a lot. :)
They don't need access to your account to tell you about roaming charges.
