Laptop With French Keyboard

Is there anywhere in the UK where you can buy a laptop with a French keyboard, or is there a UK firm that can supply one? Failing that, can you recommend a laptop consumer helpline in France? Any links welcomed

You could treat yourself to a day trip to Calais! There is a big Darty store there. Of course, the laptop would have a French fitting on the charger but you could buy an adapter on the ferry.

They are just USB keyboards, not laptops. I use the on-line one often when I'm typing French. You can get them for most languages; I find the Russian one particularly useful.

Excuse me being daft , I know a French keyboard is an azerty rather than a qwerty,but why can't you just type French on a standard keyboard? Surely the only difference is the position of a few letters?

You can buy new stick on covers for the keys as well.

Using a standard keyboard, alt + relevant number will generate letters with diacritics/ subscripts. This can only be done with the number pad on the right of the keyboard; it doesn't work with the numbers along the top.
