Like the question Baths. "She who must be obeyed" is with yahoo and I keep ignoring the invite when I am sorting out the utilities etc that are all done there. I will keep an eye on the replies that come through and if everyone is happy will give it a whirl.
Thanks Togo!! :D I've had it since 2003 and would hate to lose all addresses, that happened to a friend apparently, although to admit she is worse with puters than I am!
Haha. That is what I was afraid of happening, so I will wait. I suppose I should have a look in the forums and see what the verdict is. The problem there though is, you only get the people posting who have had problems, so it can be a bit one sided.
Any way how are you Baths? I know that you have been proper poorly, and though I didn't post on some of the threads, I did drop in and take note. I hope you are much better and on the mend. X
Aaww, thanks Togo.....yeah I've been proper poorly.. (love that!), but have been told by consultants that cancer has completely gone, but I don't believe em ;) Hair has grown back curly, but am currently walking with zimmer after having nasty fall.....am so unlucky, which is why I'm thinking Yahoo will wipe everything out ;)
Were all your folders still there Baths? What was it you didn't like? It is not for me. I am with outlook and happy there, it is for "she who must be obeyed".
Are you happy with it Jackdaw? Any definite bad points?
Just a quick question Jackdaw.... the old version is a begger to block an address on. Outlook is a simple click. Does the new version make it easier to block unwanted do you know?
Hi C@C, noticed your earlier reply but thought you may be "elsewhere". You are obviously OK with it. Do you know whether the block an address feature is easier than the old version?
It is a begger on yahoo Jackdaw, You have to copy the email address into a box and add it to your blocked list. I always end up opening the yahoo in 2 tabs so that I can paste and copy the unwanted address. Pain in the chuff writing it down(often wrong) because most of em look like hieroglyphics anyway. On outlook I can just tick the email box and hit the block button. Not a big deal I know, but I get sick of bleedyn unwanted email.
Jackdaw, if no one else comes back with the method to block on yahoo mail, I will go onto "She who must be obeyed's" account over the weekend and post a walk through on this thread for you. I honestly have to discover how to do it, in her mail facility, anew every time. It is hidden away somewhere in options.
