When I type my friend Lesley's name on my mobile using predictive text, why does it provide JERKEW, a non-existent word ?

I don't 'know' the answer but I googled "Jerkew & Lesley" and got these two links:

Predictive text can be great but it can also bring up some very strange alternative words.
