Corrupted Sd Cards In Canon Eos T4I

2 SD cards have so far been "corrupted " by use in this camera. Formatting not possible with the camera and laptop.
What could be the cause?
Also,when the 1st spoiled card was retried,images belonging to the 2nd SD popped up on the camera screen.

1. Have you used the corrupted card previously in the camera without ill event?
2. Did you format the card on the laptop PRIOR to the card becoming unusable, or were they formatted via the camera usually?
3. Were the cards completely full prior to this happening?

Which make of card have you been using and where have you been buying them from?
You should ensure that you're only using verified cards

and that you're most definitely NOT buying them from possibly dodgy internet sources. (The MAJORITY of SD cards sold on eBay, and by Amazon traders, are FAKES).
