I have an old Orion TV which has a video recorder built in. Is there a way to move content from a tape onto my PC so that I can put it on a disk?

Thanks OG. The TV is currently in the loft.I'll have to make the journey up the ladder! (Hard work nowadays).
I don't know what ouputs it has.
I think you'll be very lucky if your TV has the appropriate outputs on it Mexican. You'll probably have more luck scouring the Charity Shops for a second-hand VCR and using that with OG's suggestion.

You may be right. It is very old. Thanks BHG.
If it's just the one tape there are companies who will do this for you. You would need extra kit to do it yourself, you need a video 'grabber' and software to take the output from the VCR and convert it to a computer file, you then need something to covert that to DVD (this you may already have on your PC) So, if more than one tape it's probably worth investing otherwise see what someone will charge to do it for you.

I have just found out that a local shop will do it for £12! Not worth the trip up the ladder! Forget the question. I'm off to the shop.
Thanks for the help.
Don't forget to make yourself a copy as soon as you get your disk.
