What do they actually do - I know you talk to them and they talk back to you.

As you know I have nerve deafness so hear a person talking but don't understand what they're actually saying

Would it be good for me.

Are they fun - what can of things do you ask them to do and most of all DO THEY REALLY ENHANCE YOUR LIFE

hi jenny. It really depends what you want it to do. I use mine to stream music, listen to the radio, ask about the weather, traffic and news mainly. I also use it to control my wifi lightbulb and plug. But you can do all that without an echo so it's not a need, i just like it. The only way i can think of it "enhancing" my life is that i find it hard to bend down to the sockets, so just asking it to turn the socket off is easier. My 5 year old loves it to play music, but i guess that'll be her world in the future

I love Alexa..tells me news..weather..jokes...keeps shopping lists..plays radio...music...info on travel...cinema..telly...general info..play quizzes etc etc...like the relaxing sleep noises too...don't yet have the lights etc..will get round to that...
