When you have clicked the little fav. star....the panel opens up and top right, just under the "pin"icon it says settings. Click on that.
Or alternately click on the three dots ... top right to the right of fav. star and again when the panel opens click on favs and settings or scroll down list to sub menu heading Settings.

Have a read through this Norm. At the beginning where it says "Launch Microsoft Edge and select the More actions button" the More actions button is the three little dots ... top right.

Just had a few thoughts Norm. You say switched to w10. Is this an upgrade on a previously in use machine or a new machine that has w10 already loaded. Which browser are you using for w10, Edge? The favourites you are trying to load? Are they from chrome, Internet Explorer, or other? Now if it is a new machine and you have loaded your Microsoft account you should be able to import Favs. from IE, but if you are after chrome Favs. say, you will need to have the Chrome browser installed on your new machine so that Edge can import them. No bad thing to have a back up browser installed anyway. If as I say it is a new machine you can sync it with the old machine but need them both operational for sync to take place. If it is a machine that you have upgraded, again you will need to have the "other" browser" installed (chrome say) If you were using IE on an old machine and have upgraded to 10, you will have the Edge browser in there and it will have retained IE anyway. Gotta go out for a while will drop back in later.
