Teen Smow and gf got keys to their first rented home yesterday(yes I can’t quite believe it - he’s only 18!).
Anyway they want to know what the best current deals are for package - TV, broadband and landline. Sky? Virgin? Anyone else? Any answers gratefully received x
(Holding reply until someone who can be bothered to look up the prices replies :-) )
Now TV and BT are two other options.
Virgin will I think only be an option in cabled areas, tho chances are your area will be cabled. Sky is moving to dishless, but until they do often there are restrictions on dishes esp in flats.
Now TV is actually Sky and allows you to buy "passes" to watch Sky channels via wifi.
We have Sky but I wouldn't claim it was the cheapest.
This is exactly the question that Which? answers so well.
The cheapest deal isn't necessarily the best deal...no point in a very low price if the service is poor. The current top provider (out of six) is Plusnet, then EE, TalkTalk, Virgin, BT and lastly Sky.
...I should have said that the above takes into account several factors...quality of service (including broadband speed and TV content available), ease of contact, customer satisfaction AND PRICE.
