Not sure if you call it an app... I bought my Samsung J5 Mobile from Tesco and have always been able to click on the Tesco Mobile blue and white logo to find out how much data I have used during the month on my phone. Although the Tesco App is still in my Notifications, and isnt uninstalled, the logo has disappeared off my phone screen. Help please! I am not technical so easy answers please. Tia.

Can you not look in the list of applications and drag that one using your finger to your home-screen ?
As OG says, just open the Apps Drawer, locate the icon, tap and hold, then drag it to the home screen.

Probably in the Play Store.

No, in Playstore I have to click in Tesco Mibile, give my phone number, they send activation code, use it, open up, what a palaver. I used to have the app ready to open.. Its just vanished.
Running out of ideas.
Maybe contact Tesco ?
Yes, mine disappeared the other day. It's because they sent a major update e

I just looked in my apps and it was there, so I just dragged it back onto my homes teen. Like you. I had to verify myself and get an activation code, but that was a one time process.

The revised version is, for me, quite an improvement. I have three phones in the family on my account. I can now check all three on the one app.

Hopkirk it seems that every time I want to open the Tesco App I have to go through the same process and get an activation code. it still doesnt sppear as an App on my phone.
Find it in Playstore. Put your finger on it and drag it to where you want it and let go.

If you're not sure about it, get a tame teenager to help. Failing that just nip into a Tesco phone shop.

Just gone into Playstore again, there was nothing to drag, but there are a lot of reviews saying how everyone is unhappy with this new update so at least its not a problem with my phone. Why do we have these updates that change things that were fine in the first place?? Thanks anyway everyone. At least this answers my question. I will go into Tesco and see if anything can be done.
Sorry, I mislead you saying Playstore.

Do you have a button that shows all the apps on your phone? If so, look in there, that's where I found mine.

If it's not there then in Playstore you should be able to search for it and download it again.

Well I give up trying to download the app on my Samsung mobile ... But I have managed to do it on my ipad, and I can clearly see the logo in my apps ... Weird.... Thanks everyone anyway!
It is a much improved app, giving you access to more information and options without the hassle of struggling through their website.
