Can anyone help me please?

I can't send attached photos in my emails.

I can send them to myself on ntlworld.com (Virgin) and to my son also ntlworld.com but to anyone else who are not on that address I get a Delivery to the following recipients failed permanently notification.

It appears that there's a spam filter blocking email with attachments from going beyond Virgin's server. It's possible that Virgin has allocated you an IP address that been blacklisted as a sender of dodgy attachments. Try changing it.

(To change your IP address you usually only need to disconnect your router, wait a minute and then reconnect it. If you go here before doing so you'll be able to check your current IP address: https://whatismyipaddress.com/ . Then go back again after reconnecting your router to check that you've been allocated a different address)

Thanks for that Buenchico.

That sounds most feasible but not being computer technically minded and rather than get my email address mixed up, I think I will phone Virgin and let them sort it out.
Your email address has got nothing to do with your IP address. You get a new IP address every time you connect to the internet anyway, so there's no problem with forcing a change by disconnecting, and then reconnecting, your router.
is that just with Virgin or with all broadband providers? I'm pretty sure my IP address stays the same.
^sorry, that was for Buenchico.
F-F:
Broadband providers normally use 'dynamic' IP addresses, where users are allocated a new address whenever they connect to the internet. Users who require a 'static' IP address (perhaps because they host a website on their own computer, rather than on an external server) are often charged extra for the facility.
Don't confuse the IP address of your computer with the IP address of your modem, the one on your computer is an internal address assigned by your router and will normally be the same each time something like 192.168.0.2 etc.
