My Officejet 6770 printer sits alongside my HP laptop and when I select a document to print it takes at least 30 seconds wait before it commences to print.
Printing same document from either my iPad or iPhone is done instantly.
Any suggestions what problem could be guys?

When you print from your iOS devices, you're using Google Cloud Print, which obviates the need to use a Windows printer driver. When you print from your laptop, the printer driver on your laptop has to collate and process lots of data before it can hand it over to the printer. It's simply that processing time which is causing the delay.
