Connecting to Limewire - please help

When i search for an artist such as elvis presley, a grey bar scrolls accross his name on the tab at the top of the search box, this takes about 2 mins but no results are ever found, is this related to the messate "Limewire is currently connecting to the network you may not get many results until fully connected" which i get in a pop up every time i initiate a search? What do i need to do please?

Do you know if your computer has a firewall? If it has Limewire has maybe been blocked, which would mean no connection.

I had this once, if you are sure you have an internet connection (Which as you have posted here seems that you do) and that you are not behind a firewall that is blocking limewire...

I removed limewire completely then re-installed. It fixed it for me. Still don't know what cause it though.
