Download Films / Tv Programs To Tablet

I have a Samsung tablet and I wish to download some films or TV programs as I have a couple of long coach journeys coming up and want to watch them while on the coach.

I have download a few programs from the BBC iPlayer but it wont let me put them on my SD card which has a lot of spare memory.

Is anyone aware of a web site where I can download any films or TV programs and store them on my tablet, but store them on the SD card.

I think you may have to download the film to the tablet and then move it to the SD card.

Films and TV programs aren't readily available as MP4 files because, if they were, nobody would buy them on DVD, Blu-ray or streaming sites.

You're best chance of finding content to your tastes is to look for relevant stuff on Youtube and then rip it to MP4. (It's not legal but it's probably what most people would do anyway). If you've not already got a stream-ripping facility I can provide simple instructions upon request.

I am happy to download to the tablet first and then move it to the SD card.

But sadly you cannot do that with any BBC programs downloaded from the iPlayer.
