Can I Restore My Windows 10 Os To An Earlier Date
6 Answers
I have windows 10 OS on my laptop. Just recently my laptop seems to have lost all the program icons, althoughI can still use my PC. I don't really know if this is due to a windows update or a fault on my laptop. In order to overcome this problem, please could someone advise me how I can restore my PC to an earlier date or delete the latest windows update. Many thanks

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.When you say "programme icons" what do you mean? Task bar(bottom) or task bar (top)? Both are easily reinstated and if you can check, was the recent upgrade the 1803 version of W10. If so stay with it. You can of course go into settings,(windows key, or mouse and cog wheel) select "Update and security". "View update history". Then uninstall updates or recovery options. If you have 1803 now installed I would recover the "icons". It is pretty cool.
Rowanwitch suffered a similar problem with the latest Windows update. My post (towards the bottom of the page) on her thread will hopefully tell you how to fix it:
